Hi this is my first project. So if you have any suggestions on how to make it better let me know. I am having trouble with sweat or water stains on the leather when I dye it. Any help is appreciated.

hi looks good to me

but what dye are you using

i had a similar problem using the eco flow water base dye

switch to oil dye and found it 100% better

if it is water based try giving it a light spray of water first i found it helps the leather absorb the the dye better

otherwise get an air brush setup and try that.

A little rough maybe, but very nice overall and certainly very good for a first project! I like those handles.

Maybe use pre-dyed veg tan?

I used fiebings oil dye in saddle tan. My second project isn't as splochy and I learned how to burnish the edges smooth but other than that its a learning process.
