18/4 = ??

18/5 = ??

18/6 = ??

Somac or Barbours??

Which is closes to .7mm

I thought someone answered this for you in another thread? He even got out calipers and measured if I remember right.

The threads had a different thickness I think.

Unless 3 ply and 4 ply are the same as 18/3 and 18/4.

David contact Coats or Somac or buy the sample chart from Royalwood, sorry but your making my head hurt linen isn't measured this way heres a run down of how it works look at reply #5

thanks for the link. I can sometimes overcomplicate things, sorry about that.

Anyways, I found the measurements for others that might be wondering too.

18/3 = tex 270 = .58mm

18/4 = tex 350 = .65mm

18/5 = tex 450 = .78mm

18/6 = tex 500 = .9-1mm
