Wizcrafts Report post Posted June 22, 2014 I often edge stitch bridle leather belts to reduce stretch. This works better on larger sizes that exert more pressure on the belt. I use #207/207 thread into 8-9 ounces, or #277 top/207 bottom on 10-12 ounce belts. Anything thicker, or double leather belts, I use 277 top and bottom.
