3 - Snell Atherton Heel shaves #5, #6 & #7. Great condition, sharp, bought from Bob Douglas 5 years ago. Lightly used if at all on a few. #5 has 1 handle removed to get to the deep hollows per Bob's recommendation. $120 for all plus shipping. PayPal accepted.

Thanks for the pictures, I am not familiar with these shaves .What is the actual radius of the curve, and does the removed handle come with the set?

Not sure of the radius. These are used for shaping the ground seat. The handles don't remove. It was cut off so you can get to the tight areas around the cantle ears and base of the ground seat where it joins the cantle. Bob Douglas sells them on the she rid an leather site for $120 each. That's what I paid. Helluva deal.

I know what they are used for, I have some shaves different radius and am looking for smaller ones. ,I am not sure of the numbers on the tools and what the radius are. When you bought them were they brand new?

I don't think anyone has made new heel shaves in 80 years. You can buy new spokeshaves, Travishers and such. Different animal though. To answer your question, no. Just new to me. PM me if you are interested.
