The Elusive... Cordovan

Has anyone had a request for the color Cordovan? I've been trying to match it with no acceptable results. Any help would be appreciated. I've attached a picture of what I'm looking for.

Have you tried Fiebings cordovan dye?

I have not. I searched the tandy Site. I'll check out Fiebing's Site.

I use Angelus Cordovan dye. I get it from Turtlefeathers.net.

Fiebings cordovan is much darker than on the swatch. I love it for dying edges but would recommend diluting it got all over dyeing

I tired both the Fiebings and Angelus. The Angelus was the dye that most closely replicated what I had seen and what I think most people think of when they think Cordovan. The Fiebings even cut was way dark for me. There are a couple ebay sellers that sell teh small bottle of Angelus cordovan and I highly recommend it. I used it straight from the bottle with an airbrush and was very happy with the result.
