Members uncleiu Posted August 6, 2014 Members Report Posted August 6, 2014 Can someone tell me if a brass rivet is made that is similar to the copper rivet with a burr? I need some flat head sturdy brass rivets and don't know what to order. I got some rapid rivets last time and they are way too weak. I'm using them for everything from straps and hardware to bags. Thanks for any help given, Lyle Quote
King's X Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Two different animals. The copper will be the strongest of the two. Quote

Thanks for any help given, Lyle If you google Ohio Travel Bag, . . . then on the left side, "view catalog", starting on page 3(?) through the next 8 or 10 pages is a ton of rivets, . . . they will have pretty much what is out there in the industry. You have several choices for brass, . . . but not precisely what you asked for. You could buy some longer solid brass rivets, . . . some brass washers, . . . and create your own, . . . but as said above, . . . they would not be as strong as the copper ones. May God bless, Dwight Quote
Members anhurset Posted August 6, 2014 Members Report Posted August 6, 2014 Check eBay for "brass rivets and burrs", the first three hits I get seem to be what you're looking for, they're not cheap though. Quote
