Pounder Posted August 14, 2014 Report Posted August 14, 2014 Hey All: I am making a messenger bag with a three part gusset, bottom and two sides. My questions regards the corners and how to sew them together without bunching. Are there ways to trim the corners before sewing and if so where might I find a pattern or books on this subject. I have Valrie Michaels book but it does not address this matter. I look forward to some great replies. Thanks Pounder Quote Crooked Finger Leather 5514 E. Hwy 40 Greenfield, IN 46140 (317) 947-8046
Members Ole South Posted August 16, 2014 Members Report Posted August 16, 2014 Skive the gusset overlap and corners. Check out Nigel Armitage's " Make your own messenger bag" on youtube. About minute 7:49 Quote
