RoosterShooter Report post Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) This Boss has less than 2 hours on it, and is my newest one. I have never had any issues like this out of one, and don't know where to turn. This just started happening while I was finishing a piece just a few minutes ago. On the downstroke it works fine. On the upstroke there is a lot of resistance, and it will not allow the needle bar to come up. I CAN lift the presser foot without any issues. I took the Front cover off that houses the needle bar, Presser foot cam, etc .... and it works fine, and I can see where the cam and need bar are rubbing on the cover and meeting resistance. When I put the Front Cover back on ... the same thing happens. This makes me think something shifted! Did something go out of spec or adjustment? It worked fine up until a few minutes before completing the last piece! Any thoughts? Edited September 12, 2014 by RoosterShooter

Wizcrafts Report post Posted September 13, 2014 Have you called the dealer who sold it to you? Or, did you contact Tippmann? I have read a lot of member's posts who own and have trouble with these machines. Hopefully, some of them can reply to you.
Richard Wasnock Report post Posted September 13, 2014 Tippmann is usually spot on in solving problems for me.,
RoosterShooter Report post Posted September 14, 2014 The problem with that is ... they aren't open over the weekend, and I'm hoping to have it fixed by tomorrow. Truth be told ... this is actually a machine that they sent me as a replacement! So, this machine replaced another that started messing up with stitching after 6 months! RoosterShooter Report post Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) I talked to Tippmann this morning and the tech is saying I need to send this machine back to them! I told him that this WAS a machine that was a Factory Replacement from an original purchase, and he didn't have anything to say. "Not much I can do over the phone!" was his reply. What gives? This is the 3rd time I have had to send a Boss back for Warranty Repair or Replacement! There won't be a 4th!!! Can you blame me?
