I am having trouble with white lines around my knife cuts when I bevel. What am I doing wrong?

I get the lines here and I think that may be from the undercut I did with the modeling tool.

The lines are caused by cutting the leather too deep with you blade. Your beveling is not getting deep enough and when you bevel it compresses the leather with that line showing. You can either cut shallower to correct it or if you but a dye or antique it will cover it up. Hope this helps.
