tonyc1 Report post Posted October 30, 2008 We hold the Melbourne Cup here in Australia next week. It is the richest race in Australia and there are races every day in the lead up to it. On the news today it said two US entertainers were at a big dinner last night. Jerry Lewis and Kenny Rogers were on stage. Well, we even have a public holiday for the Hobart Cup! The ladies need a day to show off their new dresses and hats and get drunk and stagger home shoes in hand!
