Kevin King Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 Here is a variation on my signature KK horny skull. I'm calling it "horny skull X" Quote
steveb Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 your killing me with that name. I love the construction, but i find the stitching to be kind of simplistic and crafty when contrasted with the interior - I like your inlay/overlay technique much more...i like the intricacy and "fine-ness" of that style but if you wanted to send me your horny skull, I would consider using it and i dont make that offer to many men...lol..!! 'scuse me, cracked myself up with that Quote
SCOUTER Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 Kevin, Very nice work! What sewing machine do you use??? Thanks! Quote
Members bustedlifter Posted January 23, 2008 Members Report Posted January 23, 2008 Another cool wallet Kevin. Nice work, do you know Bill Wall? Quote
steveb Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 hmmm....bill wall.....not a fan of the man... but if you want to see the guy who used to do his work...check out www.onetoomanydesign.com Ron rocks - his work is great, he's a rare bird, a tattoo artist who is fantastic: skin, metal and leather steveb Quote
Kevin King Posted January 24, 2008 Author Report Posted January 24, 2008 I totally agree with steveb, I think Rons work is probably the best out there. KK Quote
Russ Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 www.onetoomanydesign.comsteveb That is some incredible work. I need to go practice now....... Thanks for sharing that site. Quote
Randyc Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 Kevin, Your interiors and edge work are beyond belief. I was wondering when someone would stitch designs in a wallet. You pulled it off. Nice Job! Randy Quote
Kevin King Posted January 27, 2008 Author Report Posted January 27, 2008 Kevin, Very nice work! What sewing machine do you use???Thanks! Thanks, I use a Juki 1541. Love it. Another cool wallet Kevin. Nice work, do you know Bill Wall? I dont know Bill Wall. Bill has turned more into a business man than a craftsman and pays people to make his stuff (mostly) He will still travel to Japan and whatnot to set up shop at his retailers on occasion. From a biz perspective, probably pretty smart. Ron Bryant used to work for Bill and is now doing very well on his own as you can see from his site. I have spoken with Ron a few times and he seems like a good guy. Bill on the other hand...i dont know. KK Quote
