I have been inlove with baseball my whole life. I recently had this idea that I could make my own fully functional baseball glove. I thought this would be a good place to start. Does anybody have any ideas on where to begin. Is there any experience or even just a idea of where to start that would make my day.

Interesting question! I don't recall seeing anyone posting a baseball glove. I would suspect that there's a lot of technique involved. I'll comment to help keep this thread active and maybe someone who has experience will jump in.

I would start at Goodwill, or Salvation Army, . . . get a used glove in there for $3.59 or so, . . . take it home, . . . and take it apart.

You will then know how the "other guy" did it, . . . and you can make whatever changes suit your whimsy.

May God bless,

Dwight

Thanks for the responses! Thankfully I have an old glove I can use to pick apart. And I will check out alligator baseball gloves. Thanks for taking your time to help.
