Members whiteeugene Posted October 29, 2014 Members Report Posted October 29, 2014 I’m making a tie down to match a head stall I made for a costumer and am trying to find the hardware the part that the strap clips to. I have seen two different types one is a one piece looks like two rings at 90 degree offsets. The other used a ring and two pins. Can anyone recommend a place to get them? Thanks Doug Quote

Members Josh Ashman Posted October 29, 2014 Members Report Posted October 29, 2014 SLC has the triangle and ring type. it's their part number 4-100 and they call it a "Ring, Round, Tri". Weaver has the ring with a loop offset 90 degrees all in a single piece in 2 different sizes, their piece marks 498 Loop & Ring and 499 Loop & Ring. The 2 pin and ring type are pretty good looking but I haven't noticed the hardware for them before. You could probably use any ring and just figure out your own pins if you wanted to take the time to look over them and figure them out. Good luck, Josh Quote

Members Josh Ashman Posted October 30, 2014 Members Report Posted October 30, 2014 You bet Doug, good luck on it. If you go with the halter bolt/ring set up make sure to post some pictures! Best regards, Josh Quote
