Hi again,,, I just finished this one yesterday. I was asked to make this for a friends husband for Christmas. She said she wanted a Deer & some leaves, & his name. It's 4oz Herman Oak with a CF interior I got from Springfield Leather,,, #195-553108 It may just be me, but when using thinner leather, I like using Herman Oak because it seems to give a bit more depth to the tooling. I copied the Deer head out of an old pattern book. It's only been about 20 years since I've done a Deer,,, hope it looks Ok. But the rest of the design I did myself. All the leaves are tracings from actual leaves I did a few years ago. I make my leaves as close to nature as I can,, as long as it looks good.

I also had her write out a small note to be included inside the wallet. So I traced her note, so that it looked like she wrote the note herself. She really loved that.

All the colors are done with Angelus spirit dyes,, & about 3 different brushes. Thanks for looking ,,, Ed
