Just got this in the mail today. $150 on Amazon and works like a charm. After some problems with snaps on my last project I did some research and this tool sounded like an affordable answer.

What size are the shafts of your dies?

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

I have a kick press and of course the tandy snap setters as well.  I just got the  snap setter a month ago and love it.  It sets snaps so much cleaner.  Money well spent. (although I dont use alot of snaps in my business) I do use the pull the dot snaps and bought that extra die as well.

I bought one of these years ago after messing up many snaps with the old hammer and anvil setters.  It was money well spent.  They also make a die set for "pull the dot" snaps which works well.

Measured with a ruler (because that's all I have handy) the shaft is 9mm or 11/32"
