Hey all! I am as new as new gets to leather working. Thankfully, there is a Tandy store 2 miles from me that offers classes, so hopefully the leather bug gets me good. Any suggestions on tools, leather, and other aspects of lw would be awesome and very welcome!

Take care and hope to learn a lot from everyone!

Welcome aboard! I hope your local shop is as good to you as mine has been to me...I'm quickly finding out that I don't know SQUAT regarding leather! HAHAHA I hope you find the support you need here...looking forward to seeing some of your work.

p.s. born in Bradenton, and my family lives in Venice.

Venice is a great place. Went to the Sharks Tooth Festival there last year and had a great time

Welcome from Alabama.

Happy to have you join the greatest leather site. Ask questions and someone will probably be able to assist when needed.

God Bless.
