this Tool Bag I made for my husband´s birthday, he's so happy and proud.

Do not look too closely, I have made many mistakes by the cut´s, but I will lern to do it better :)

You are your own worst critic. It is beautiful ! Also you have impressed the only one who matters, your husband.

First; with handmade versus machine done you can tell the difference because of the cuts. Now, that being said, are you nuts? That is simply beautiful, great job!

echt schick geworden! Farblich hast du nen echt schönen, weich anmutenden Kontrast hinbekommen und der weiße Skorpion ist n schöner eye-catcher!

That is awesome.

Very cool. I love the scorpion mixed with the flowers.

Nice job!

One tip though. Being arachnids, scorpions have 8 legs , plus the pinchers (pedipalps). We have the giant hairy scorpions here in Nevada.

That looks killer

Maybe the scorpion will limp a little because of the missing legs but that is great work. 99% of lookers will never notice he is handicapped.

Great work in the carving.

Are these dyes, paints or a combination? Some type of dye masking technique.....I love the contrast. How will the white wear?

I used Fiebing´s oil dye in black für the background, for the white I used Fiebing´s Acrylic paint. Dry after I used a lightly coat neatsfoot oil over the increase. Than I used carefull Fiebing´s antique finish with a brush on the tooled area, one by one carefull with a paper towel wipe off
