Members Eccho Posted January 11, 2015 Members Report Posted January 11, 2015 You are your own worst critic. It is beautiful ! Also you have impressed the only one who matters, your husband. Quote
Members leatherwytch Posted January 11, 2015 Members Report Posted January 11, 2015 First; with handmade versus machine done you can tell the difference because of the cuts. Now, that being said, are you nuts? That is simply beautiful, great job! Quote
Members Basically Bob Posted January 11, 2015 Members Report Posted January 11, 2015 I love it! Thanks for sharing! Quote

Members Sona Posted January 12, 2015 Members Report Posted January 12, 2015 echt schick geworden! Farblich hast du nen echt schönen, weich anmutenden Kontrast hinbekommen und der weiße Skorpion ist n schöner eye-catcher! Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted January 13, 2015 Members Report Posted January 13, 2015 Very cool. I love the scorpion mixed with the flowers. Quote
Members BIGGUNDOCTOR Posted January 13, 2015 Members Report Posted January 13, 2015 Nice job! One tip though. Being arachnids, scorpions have 8 legs , plus the pinchers (pedipalps). We have the giant hairy scorpions here in Nevada. Quote
Members Twisted 66 Posted January 13, 2015 Members Report Posted January 13, 2015 Wow! looks great! Quote
Members Eddie1968 Posted January 14, 2015 Members Report Posted January 14, 2015 That looks killer Quote
Members doubleh Posted January 14, 2015 Members Report Posted January 14, 2015 Maybe the scorpion will limp a little because of the missing legs but that is great work. 99% of lookers will never notice he is handicapped. Quote
Members Windrider30 Posted January 17, 2015 Members Report Posted January 17, 2015 Holy crap that is stunning I hope my bags will come out like that!!! Quote

Members Otto6294 Posted April 13, 2015 Members Report Posted April 13, 2015 Are these dyes, paints or a combination? Some type of dye masking technique.....I love the contrast. How will the white wear? Quote
Members Irish Wolf Posted April 29, 2015 Author Members Report Posted April 29, 2015 I used Fiebing´s oil dye in black für the background, for the white I used Fiebing´s Acrylic paint. Dry after I used a lightly coat neatsfoot oil over the increase. Than I used carefull Fiebing´s antique finish with a brush on the tooled area, one by one carefull with a paper towel wipe off Quote
