Members Stewart Posted January 31, 2015 Members Report Posted January 31, 2015 I guess I just like doing these. They are not good for anything except showing off what can be done on a custom style order. I sit and pound these out and wife has the Audio book going so life is good. Quote
raysouth Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 Hello Stewart, They are good for something. They please you and provide comfort during the creative process. I say that makes them valuable items. Great projects, great fun and always nice to see. God Bless. Ray Quote
Members doubleh Posted January 31, 2015 Members Report Posted January 31, 2015 You must be retired. I am and understand the need to be busy. My current "something to piddle with" project is making 1911 grips. Some carved, some with inlays, and some just plain. Got a couple of "for me" leatherwork projects planned just as soon as I finish a gunstock I'm building and clean up the huge mess I've created with that. Right after I finish the current set of grips I put aside for the gunstock that is. Quote
Members Stewart Posted February 1, 2015 Author Members Report Posted February 1, 2015 Thank you Ray. Doubleh Yep-- I done tobacco pipes, Knives, welded hanging baskets and flunked on Honey do's. Harbor fright does not interest me no more and Flea markets have the same stuff in the same place. Yep retired. Quote
