Members jimi Posted February 25, 2015 Author Members Report Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) i think i need a small lathe/milling machine or something to start with? a lot of parts look easy to do and everyone sells(if they sell) always the same parts?? the singer parts list is full of options for these machines (and many others) but i always see the same 3 parts again and again "i hope it dosent just stay as an idea folker!!" By the way folker, do you sew canvas on your machines?? I mean new canvas? If so what types of canvas is there available these days? Edited February 25, 2015 by jimi Quote

Members jimi Posted March 4, 2015 Author Members Report Posted March 4, 2015 Have you or do You also use a 45k tor? Quote
Trox Posted March 5, 2015 Report Posted March 5, 2015 Hi Jimi, I am more of a Adler type of person. I do have an old Adler class 5-27 who is the same machine as a 45K (cylinder bed, bottom feed with jump foot). I have used that for many years, but now I use a 441 clone. In fact I have own several old Adler`s class 5 and 105 (I am selling one 105 now) Quote Tor Workshop machines: TSC 441 clone/Efka DC1550, Dürkopp-Adler 267-373/Efka DC1600, Pfaff 345-H3/Cobra 600W, Singer 29K-72, Sandt 8 Ton clicking machine, Alpha SM skiving unit, Fortuna 620 band knife splitting machine.
