Rockfarm Report post Posted February 13, 2015 Howdy folks, for my oldests 13th birthday I took her to Springfield Leather to pick out the parts and leather for a school bag/purse. Somehow she found some 5oz Horween that was marked 3.49 sqft in a shiny black that she loved and I could afford. Then it was off to the lambskin liner, buckles and latches, we left with our hands full and high hopes, after about a week this was the result. I did the construction and she drew the design, anyway here are some pics!
MonicaJacobson Report post Posted February 14, 2015 It looks great! Lucky find on the Horween. That bag is large enough and multi-purpose enough to last practically forever.
Rockfarm Report post Posted February 14, 2015 Thanks, she pulled the roll out of a pile of leather, unraveled it and I saw that Horween stamp and thought "No way, can't afford this" but that sections of sides needed to be moved so was on sale. I checked for more but that one was it so we grabbed it up!

Eddie1968 Report post Posted February 15, 2015 Very nice! Never messed with any horween. Do the edges burnish well? Eddie
Rockfarm Report post Posted February 16, 2015 I used a clear sealer and piece of antler, had zero issues
