Howdy folks, for my oldests 13th birthday I took her to Springfield Leather to pick out the parts and leather for a school bag/purse. Somehow she found some 5oz Horween that was marked 3.49 sqft in a shiny black that she loved and I could afford. Then it was off to the lambskin liner, buckles and latches, we left with our hands full and high hopes, after about a week this was the result. I did the construction and she drew the design, anyway here are some pics!

It looks great! Lucky find on the Horween. That bag is large enough and multi-purpose enough to last practically forever.

Thanks, she pulled the roll out of a pile of leather, unraveled it and I saw that Horween stamp and thought "No way, can't afford this" but that sections of sides needed to be moved so was on sale. I checked for more but that one was it so we grabbed it up!

Very nice! Never messed with any horween. Do the edges burnish well?
