Members johnggrg Posted February 20, 2015 Members Report Posted February 20, 2015 I recently downloaded the midevil pattern pack listed by mrdabeetle. I printed the chest and back plate pattern and it was very small. How would I resize the pattern to fit a 46 chest???? I would greatly appreciate any help with this. Thank you. John Quote
electrathon Posted February 21, 2015 Report Posted February 21, 2015 The simplest answer to this is figure out how much too small it is and scale it up (say 15%) on the printer. If you need it longer but not wider it gets a little trickier. Quote
Members johnggrg Posted February 21, 2015 Author Members Report Posted February 21, 2015 Thanks for the responce. The pattern has front and back plates to it. It looks like when put together would fit a toddler or teddy bear. It is really small when printed. I can spread my hand wider then thje chest plate is thats how small it is. Could easly fit a small dog in it's current size. So not sure what to do.. I wanted to make it so it fit about a 46 chest. But that is ALOT bigger then it is now. So any halp would be great. Thank you. John Quote
Members BIGGUNDOCTOR Posted February 22, 2015 Members Report Posted February 22, 2015 Scale it up on the printer like Electrathon mentioned. I once blew up an image that was 2" to 20" for a project. It printed out on multiple sheets, but it worked great for the pattern. Quote
Members johnggrg Posted February 22, 2015 Author Members Report Posted February 22, 2015 I give it a try. I have to get ink first. The one I printed was done at a print shop. The front and the back was on one sheat of paper. I could just cut it down the middle and seperate the two and go back and have him scan it in and print each one on its own sheat of paper but a larger size. Thank you for the help I appreciate it. I'll give that a try and see if that does the trick. Thanks again. John Quote
Jaymack Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 Microsoft Picture Manager comes on most PC's, but is free software. You can resize with it. Quote
