speedknot Report post Posted February 23, 2015 I have an old school, Brando style, biker jacket that is just screaming to be weathered. Can anyone here recommend someone in the NYC area who is proficent in giving leather that worn look? Thanks in advance.

speedknot Report post Posted February 23, 2015 Tumble it in a dryer with a few hard rubber balls. Regular heat setting? What do the rubber balls do?
Northmount Report post Posted February 23, 2015 No heat, don't need to dry out the leather and cause it to shrink and crack. The balls are just beating it up to give some wear. If you want some scratches, wrap it around a few bricks in a pile of rags and drag it around the driveway. Tom
Tree Reaper Report post Posted February 23, 2015 This is the same method they use for softening raw fur. Zip it or button it up and just let it tumble without the heat as Tom mentioned.
King's X Report post Posted February 24, 2015 If all of this does not work......contact my bud Freddie Matara in Brooklyn.
