Scary Leatherworks Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 While waiting for an airbrush part to arrive so I can stain my previous seat I thought I'd practice with my own seat. Since there has been some talk of steampunk masks on here lately I decided to try a steampunk inspired skull. The leather has some stains and imperfections and my tooling could have been better. I am going to use Bustedlifters style for this one except maybe use the screw type rivets so I can remove it in case I want to change it. as always critiques are welcome Scott Quote
Members bustedlifter Posted November 18, 2008 Members Report Posted November 18, 2008 I'm flattered that I've been identified with a style! I was thinking of trying some Chicago screws for my next seat. Now if only the pictures were visible.... Quote
Members Kustomizer Posted November 18, 2008 Members Report Posted November 18, 2008 What happened to the pics? I'd love to see your seats. Quote
Scary Leatherworks Posted November 18, 2008 Author Report Posted November 18, 2008 I don't know where the pics went. I'm not to computer savy so I'll try again. My airbrush part arrived so I will add the picture of my first sprayed seat now that it's finished. and this is a seat for my brother. I had posted pics after I tooled it awhile back. Thanks for looking Scott Quote
TomSwede Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 That is such a cool design. Love to carve it myself. Reminds me of the Iron Maiden front figure "Eddie". The finished seat looks great! Tom Quote
