While waiting for an airbrush part to arrive so I can stain my previous seat I thought I'd practice with my own seat. Since there has been some talk of steampunk masks on here lately I decided to try a steampunk inspired skull. The leather has some stains and imperfections and my tooling could have been better. I am going to use Bustedlifters style for this one except maybe use the screw type rivets so I can remove it in case I want to change it.024.jpg025.jpg026.jpg

I'm flattered that I've been identified with a style! I was thinking of trying some Chicago screws for my next seat. Now if only the pictures were visible....

I don't know where the pics went. I'm not to computer savy so I'll try again. My airbrush part arrived so I will add the picture of my first sprayed seat now that it's finished.

That is such a cool design. Love to carve it myself. Reminds me of the Iron Maiden front figure "Eddie".

The finished seat looks great!
