Members cldpsu Posted March 10, 2015 Members Report Posted March 10, 2015 Hi everyone, I was sewing a belt for the second time and I realized that I changed the stitch formation for two-three stitches under the belt keeper and perhaps changing back to the original formation caused there to be a large space in the leather, but it seems like the stitch is holding on to less. Should I be concerned about this tearing and turning two stitches to one, and possibly loosening the belt keeper from its tight setting? Quote
Northmount Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 Looks like maybe that one stitch was pulled up too tight, and if so will likely cut through the leather. I actually cut a short piece of paper clip and stuck under one stitch some time ago to repair it. Looks okay unless someone inspects it to closely. But won't pull through or loosen up. Tom Quote
