Spell Check?

Thanks Tom, I had no idea, I thought it was the forum software that ran the spell checker.

So what could cause it to not work for so long and then just start working? I use Firefox with, I believe, all the updating setting at manual and last one being a browser update a few days ago which seemed to have no effect on the speller thingy.

Oh, and any idea on when they're coming out with a grammar checker? I could really use on of thems.

For Firefox, look at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-use-firefox-spell-checker.

It used to be an add-in but is now part of FF. I've been using FF as my preferred browser for several years.

Tom, I just followed that FF link and fell into the wormhole!

It looks like I had the right option checked for the spell checker so the only thing that kinda sorta makes sense is that it said it only works for text boxes that contain more than one line but I'm pretty sure these jumbo text boxes don't fall under that limit. That said, perhaps they mean for instances where i haven't typed more than one line?

One thing I learned in there was that I could delete words that I accidentally added to my spell checker's dictionary and after looking in there I found a few words that needed to go.
