Hey friends, i'm going to make a wallet from 2/3oz kangaroo....

I was just going to maybe edge the kangaroo and leave the edges raw....any foreseeable problems?

not sure how to go about handling this type of leather with regard to edging/burnishing edges....any experience or success you could share is appreciated!! Thanks!! :D

Raw edges are showing up often. I personally do not care for them but that is personal opinion.

Kangaroo is such a great leather. It is beautiful and the wearability is fabulous.

I did make some iPhone sleeves without burnishing the edges of "Roo". Since the material is thin it isn't as noticeable.

When I want a nice smooth edge I roll the edges after skiving.
