I am going to Buffalo Texas for a trail ride which ends in the Houston stadium before the rodeo starts and I would like to show it off. Thanks so much. Hidemechanic Report post Posted January 27, 2008 Pella, from the research I have done with my limited library, the stirrup you are looking for is an unbound military stirrup that you can get from Weaver Leather. You could leave it bare or cover it with a hood or short tapadaro and be reasonably period correct. Do you have a picture of your out fit? I'd like to see it. keplerts Report post Posted April 3, 2015 I know this is an old thread, but, the stirrups in the picture on the bottom right has an angled face on one side and a straight face on the other.
