leaky5 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 This is made from approx 2.8mm leather and it has a suede patch which is pretty non slip on the shoulder patch. Finished with black polish and Lord Shearatons Leather Balm. I leant a few more lessons along the way. It was going to be brown, but had an accident with the black Edge Kote and had to dye it all black. I should have put a bit of polish over the brown first, then when adding the black Edge Kote, it would not have bled into the brown dye. I measured the rivet holes using much thinner swivels than the ones I would normally use. So they are a little bit to close together. The stitching took ages as I only had a 3mm pricking iron, I have some larger ones on order now. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
