There are some outlets to find what you are looking for. On YouTube, you will find Arthur Porter from Dallas who has quite a few videos on making bags. On eBay, you will find a couple of sellers who may help. CharmingBabe sells books on leathercraft. LZPatterns sells 'patterns' in various forms. I believe he may have a couple of purse patterns that maybe to your liking. The pattern is probably the hardest part due to the size. Once you figure out what size you want, you design and cut from there. I have made a few purses and market bags for the family. All of my patterns are one of kind and never repeated. I am working on one pattern for a local Tandy class in August 2015. It will be a market bag/purse with very simple instructions.

I wish you luck. If you need any help, please post it here and many of us will try to help you.

Greetings from Central Texas!
