Mike516 Report post Posted July 12, 2015 Does anyone know if I can save these pictures then turn them right side up? I can't really tell what's going on here looking at it sideways. Also, I could be mistaken, but I think if you're patient you can get one of these on eBay for between one and two hundred bucks in this condition. Can someone else verify this? That said, I am interested and live fairly close and like the idea of being able to test it before buying. But I think $600 is really high. How negotiable are you? DannyGray Report post Posted July 12, 2015 If you are looking for a $100-$200 machine this is not for you. This machine is a working machine with normal wear for its age. The one photo shows it sewing through a thick old hard leather belt. I can come down a little on the price but not much. If you have checked out ebay and craigslist you will see that this machine is in the normal range for price. This on comes with threading rod, some needles and a new belt. The cheaper machines I have seen are missing parts, rusted or broken. There is one for $150 in the area on craigslist in the Hudson Valley section and if you look close you will see the hand wheel is not attached, it has a broken shaft. It's your money so you decide if it worth it to you. These machines are great for what they were designed to do, patching.
Mike516 Report post Posted July 12, 2015 I think you are looking at eBay machine's that are for sale, and not one's that have actually sold. And I don't go by Craigslist. People ask all kinds of crazy money for stuff on there, that doesn't mean they are going to sell it. But it's your machine and you can ask for whatever you want for it. So, I'm going to pass, thanks anyway. Good luck on your sale.
Mike516 Report post Posted July 12, 2015 I'm actually saving my money for a Juki anyway. This would probably have been a 150 pound mistake. So you're right, 'it's not for me', just for a different reason.

Mike516 Report post Posted July 13, 2015 Ok awesome, thank you Medsar. I guess I was wrong about this machine, it is worth what you're asking, my apologies to you. Prices still do seem lower on eBay sold listings, not sure what that's about,
