Members tboyce Posted July 11, 2015 Members Report Posted July 11, 2015 I had a friend send me a picture of her father's leather case for his old movie camera. The case was in a basement for a few decades and now it has mold on it. Anyone know a trick for cleaning it? Quote
Members l2bravo Posted July 11, 2015 Members Report Posted July 11, 2015 Light bleach and water? Maybe mist on with a sprayer, and let sit for a couple min? Will probly need to saddle soap and oil soon after of course. Quote
Members TomG Posted July 11, 2015 Members Report Posted July 11, 2015 Work outside. Brush off what you can. Wipe down with a mixture of lemon juice and water. Rinse in clean water. If it's dirty, use a cleaner like Lexol. If still stiff, some NFO might be in order Quote Tom Gregory Legacy Leathercraft www.legacyleathercraft.com www.etsy.com/shop/legacyleathercraft
