chiocciola Report post Posted July 20, 2015 Hi all guys, i have a problem with my machine. when i put an empty bobbin on the place where it charge sometimes it doesn't twist. If i help the bobbin to turn with my hand it works but only if don't stop to sew. Other times it works very well without do anything. i tried to unmount all the piece but i can't find anything broken and i don't know what to do but the problem is very annoying. Did it ever happen to you guys or do you have any idea of what i should check? thanks a lot
Constabulary Report post Posted July 20, 2015 (edited) Bobbin winder wheel is touching the V-belt, right - if not move the winder closer to the V-belt. Or is it the bobbin not sitting tight enough in the spool pin - if so then widen the 2 prongs of the spool pin a little bit. Troy Burch Report post Posted July 20, 2015 I had a problem with my 205 not winding even. It winded mostly on just one half of the bobbin. I simply tightened the drive belt and it went back to winding perfectly.
shoepatcher Report post Posted July 21, 2015 I am confused. Is this when you are winding a bobbin or starting to sew with a new bobbin in the machine? glenn
Trox Report post Posted July 22, 2015 This machine has an inbuilt bobbin winder and inside it you will find a black rubber O ring that perhaps need to be changed. It's been some time since I looked in to my own 267-373, I never had any trouble with it. But the winder is adjustable, if I remember it correctly. You will find the service manual in the download section https://www.duerkopp-adler.com/en/main/Support/downloads/index.html?action=search&prop0=%2Fcommons%2Fdownload%2Fpublic%2F267%2F&prop1= My machine came with an extra such black rubber O ring, so I guess it's a normal "wear" part. If the O ring is worn out it will be to small and will not make proper contact with the shaft, the result will be like yours. Check it out. Good luck!
