DR80 Report post Posted August 15, 2015 No stitching yet, because i haven't got my stitching chisels. Maybe it would look better if i had dyed the flesh side too.

DR80 Report post Posted August 15, 2015 (edited) Very clean cuts. X-Acto knife? Yes. No:11 (Swann-morton) actually, I wanted to have rounded "inner corners" but i have bought a cheap hole punch set, so i can modify the tools. snubbyfan Report post Posted August 16, 2015 Whether the flesh sides dyed or not's up to your own personal taste. I think it looks pretty good. Personally, I prefer to dye both sides but that's just me. I'm looking forward to seeing it stitched.
DR80 Report post Posted August 16, 2015 I update here with pictures when the stitching is ready. When i get my stitching tools i can finish my watch strap too I just buffed the luggage tag with Sedgewick leather care, i used a white cloth and the cloth got a little colored, normal? What i have done with the leather (did it before i started with the cutting.) 1. Dyed (Fiebings pro oil) 2. Carnauba creme. Thanks everyone for the nice words.
