Contributing Member barra Posted December 4, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted December 4, 2008 http://www.seattlefabrics.com/Structure%20...0a%20Zipper.jpg Look at the pic of the zip with runner attached for orientation. Now look at the pic of the chain zip. It doesn't matter if chain or teeth zip You can feed the zip into the runner and you should notice the teeth hit up against a bar. grab the tape at each corner and gently pull/tug. The teeth should now separate. Continue to feed the zip on. Barra Quote "If You're not behind the Troops, please feel free to stand in front of them"
Ambassador broncobuster Posted December 4, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted December 4, 2008 OK Noah Im assuming by wanting 2 sliders on it that you want to open it from different ends? If thats the case your zipper might not be capable of doing that. you have to have a two way zipper. Quote
Members RLong830 Posted September 7, 2013 Members Report Posted September 7, 2013 I am looking for a tutorial or advise as to how to install a zipper in a leather project that a Brother Mason asked me to make. It is an Apron case that he wants two zippers used to open and secure the case. I have never made anything with a zipper before and this is kinda intimidating for me. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me. Warning I am a visual person ! Quote
