Members Nhfarm50 Posted September 20, 2015 Members Report Posted September 20, 2015 I just bought a Consew 226R-1 and it has a Glaco Clutch Motor and is way too fast for me... My other two machines have motors with reducers.... Since this is an older machine is there a way to slow it down? I only paid $200 and think I got a good deal... Haven't threaded it yet to make sure it stitches ok. Thanks! Quote
Members biglew Posted September 20, 2015 Members Report Posted September 20, 2015 try a servo motor... then you can put a reducer on that to slow it down even more Quote
Members Nhfarm50 Posted September 20, 2015 Author Members Report Posted September 20, 2015 That is what is on my other two.... I was hoping to save some $$ and not have to buy a new motor. Quote
