Moore77 Report post Posted September 29, 2015 Hello I'm new here, and to say that I'm new to leather working is a complete under statement. I'm looking to get into leather working and I have a lot of question and I hope that you folks share with me you knowledge of the craft. I have made one thing out of leather it was a Lakota quiver for my bow. I broke four needles trying to sew it up. I didn't know there was special needles. I did make a trip to Tandys to pick up some leather blanks to make some brackets for wrist slings, and they told me that the wildlife belt blanks were carved. lol I didn't even know that you could carve leather I thought those were stamped with 3d stamps. I'm excited to learn form you folks
Norton Custom Leather Report post Posted October 11, 2015 Welcome to the craft. Look at Springfield Leather Company. I use to buy from the factory, but just don't like a corporation that carries what they want on their shelves. I will say the employees are a joy to talk to, & they will help someone out. If you have questions, ask away. Many people on here will help out gladly.
