Ozzjim Report post Posted September 29, 2015 Have a buddy that wants a holster, but no Blue Gun.. or actual Pistol. I would want the Pistol to make it, or the Blue Gun, just curious. Thanks!

chiefjason Report post Posted September 29, 2015 Trigger guards are quite different. PPS has a rail and the G43 does not. That alone is going to cause a lot of fit issues. If he just has not bought the pistol yet, wait until he gets it and use it for the holster.
Ozzjim Report post Posted September 29, 2015 Thanks guys appreciate the feedback. Hard to know which pistols warrant buying a Blue Gun for. I don't think this is one of them. Unfortunately he is many states away from me.
camano ridge Report post Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) Explain to him the problem and either ask him to buy the blue gun or go in halves with you . If he really wants the holster he will most likely do it. It is cheaper for him then to pay an ffl for shipping both ways. If you want a good fitting holster you will need the real gun or the dummy gun. You might try asking if anyone on here has a dummy they would be willing to loan or rent. 2 day priority shipping would be $5.50 each way. Just remembered this guy has a Walther PPS listed in for sale . http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=65703 Edited September 29, 2015 by camano ridge
Ozzjim Report post Posted September 29, 2015 Thanks! I even bought a Blue gun from him.. my memory is lapsing. I will contact him. The way things usually work out for me will be; I will get the Cast Aluminum gun, make a holster and my friend will change his mind... BUT, I will have another pattern. Appreciate your help on this. Have a good week. Jim
