Members Chief Filipino Posted November 16, 2015 Members Report Posted November 16, 2015 I bought a watch from a megaboxcheapy store and the band was faux leather. It fell apart rather quickly and so instead of buying a new watch band I realized I could make one similar to the original but better. Here is the fruit of my labor. It is goat skin and brass rings. I opted for snaps instead of the usual watch/belt buckle thingy because I was making it for my wrist and I knew how big my wrist is. The worst part I had to go back to the store and buy another watch because as I was working on it the darn thing slipped through my fingers and proceeded to land face first. Luckily I just had to pull the pins on the old one and pop the new one in. Please let me know of anything I could do better Quote

Members Chief Filipino Posted November 19, 2015 Author Members Report Posted November 19, 2015 Thanks. I like the snap a little better because then I don't have to worry about making a loop to hold the excess leather. I also like the look of snaps better Quote
