Horween Rockford - What's It Like?

Recommended Posts

Hello all. Just wondering if any of you have any experience with Horween's Rockford leathers.

From the site I can see that it's Full Grain/Straight Veg/Fat Liquored/Mill Dyed. I think it's always horse.

Is it similar to Dublin or Essex?

Would it be suitable for wallet interiors and other smaller items like watch straps?

thanks!

josh

No idea. :( I'd like to find out, too. I've only used about eight kinds of horween. Haven't gotten around to Rockford yet.

Here is a handy chart for inquiring minds. Enjoy http://horween.com/leathers/full-tannage-list/

Rancourt & Company, shoemakers in Maine, refer to Rockford as ( Cow ) Side Leather.
