glockanator Report post Posted December 8, 2015 If it is a newer car you ca b just buy a replacement seat cover. The biggest problem you will have is removing/replacing the hog rings on the bottom of the seat.
dirkba Report post Posted December 8, 2015 Hi, The only way out is to remove the torn seat cover and to "dismantle" the torn panel. Use the panel as a template and cut a new piece of leather to replace. Stitch or sew the panel to the seat cover and refit it. Good luck!!

25b Report post Posted December 8, 2015 I've replaced the leather seats in a 2002 Dodge Ram and a 2008 Dodge Ram and they did NOT use hog rings...I don't think most new cars use those anymore.
