sandyt Report post Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) While searching for old Adlers, I came across this machine. It's for sale in Holland. looks like a Singer, but can't google the type. Anyone has an idea? The hole in the presserfoot has an od shape. Could this be a needle feed? Edited December 17, 2015 by sandyt
CowboyBob Report post Posted December 17, 2015 It is similar to a 107w,143w machine but I think it's a Durkopp.Or maybe Adler machine.Singer never had the lever sticking out or had a zig-zag adjuster like that.
sandyt Report post Posted December 17, 2015 Hi Bob, I noticed the difference in the lever. Didn't know durkopp made similar machines. Thanks. Not realy looking for a zigzag. But if it's double feed I might be interested. Just for fun.
Constabulary Report post Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Dürkopp 252 I´d say I once owned one but Pfaff made them too but don´t know the model. These are high speed zig zag machines with a larger hook. Feet and hooks / bobbins from the Singer 107 will work for this machine. CowboyBob Report post Posted December 17, 2015 I have a Pfaff & it looks a lot like it but the controls are different.I just took a guess on Durkopp because of the way the controls look on it.
sandyt Report post Posted December 18, 2015 Has to be a Durkopp 252 alright. Looks excactly the same. But it seems to be pretty lightweight. So not for me. Thanks for all the info people!
