Windrider30 Report post Posted December 20, 2015 Ok FINALLY got around to finishing this corset one of those projects that just kind of got pushed to the side over and over again for what ever reason. Its made from 8 to 9 0z leather which makes it VERY thick so no need for boning (not to mention it was a real pain to get the pannels to met up like I wanted to ended up having to cut it because the leather just did not have the ability to truely flex like I wanted). all hand cut and hand sewn and trust me that is abit of hand sewing! Ended up using some kangaroo lace as well that I had strong stuff when its about a 1/4 inch wide.

ramrod Report post Posted December 23, 2015 very cool! i would love to make one of these - just not for me. you certainly wouldn't need any stiffener with 8-9 oz leather.
Windrider30 Report post Posted December 23, 2015 The pattern to make this is easy enough, just takes 2 rolls of duct tape, a dress maker's maniquine and a sharpie amazing what tools we use in leather working isn't it.
