bikermutt07 Posted February 25, 2017 Report Posted February 25, 2017 Beautiful shop. Congratulations. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

I wish it got a little more use but my regular paying job just seems to keep getting in the way. Quote

I like the idea of the glass for gluing/skiving. Looks like you are set make saddles with the saddle horse? What are you using as your cutting mat? Plinkercases it works great with the glass. Glue wipes right off and there is nothing to damage the leather when you're skiving. My cutting mat is an old piece of hard rubber that my teacher gave me. He's been using a piece of it for about 20 years and it's still going strong. I have no idea where it came from but I'm glad to have it. Quote
Members JerseyFirefighter Posted February 25, 2017 Members Report Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) That's a wonderful setup. I love getting a peek at other people's workspace. I just reorganized my garage for the 5th time to try to work in an extra 8' bench. When I told my wife we should be looking at a bigger house so I can expand the business, her eyes lit up like the day we said "I do" Edited February 25, 2017 by JerseyFirefighter Quote Rob www.ridgewayleatherworks.com IG: @Ridgewayleatherworks FB: RidgewayLeatherworks
