Hello,

Haven't posted here in a while, so here are some links to the carvings I've done so far.

None are not are my original drawings, being downloaded from the internet(the only exception being the sunflower one, which was drawn by my girlfriend).

Really looking forward to some constructive criticism.

Thank you, and have a nice weekend!

I like your ironic tree of life. Overall, I like your tooling. The only thing I would like to let you know is: don't join the cuts on tips. They tend to become lose and don't look nice after a while. Cutting leather can be done while it's moist. Stamping requires much lesser moisture in the leather. The last two pictures show it well that your leather was too moist for the background tooling. I did that myself until I finally learned it not too long ago.

Thanks for the tips. Yeah, my leather is usually too wet when i stamp. About joining the cuts, i do not think i completly understand. Sounds like something i should keep in mind. Could you elaborate a little?

Datdraku, I really like your carving style. Figure carving definitely isn't a strong point for me, though it's a skill I really want to develop. I'm going to watch the tutorial Thor posted and start practicing more often.
