Members Kiwishovel Posted January 12, 2016 Members Report Posted January 12, 2016 Hi all, I am new to this site and need help. I have just got a lovely singer 7-5 and I am having problems threading the machine. Does anyone have any pictures as I think a part is missing around the tension spring. I have downloaded the manual and this is where I get confused. In the manual (page 8) it states after into the loop of the thread take up-spring, under the staple (7,Fig8 and9). I do not have this staple, My machine is different to the 7-31. I have a vibrating foot not a alternating foot. I am not sure if I am missing this part (I cannot seem to find a spot for it to go) or I am thinking it all wrong. If someone has a 7-5 and they could take a photo that would be great. I hope. Quote
