I'd just rip out the seam in my jeans, . . . sew the leather to the jeans, . . . sew the seam back up and be done with it. I took the seam out of two pairs of jeans a couple years ago, . . . lined them puppies from top to bottom, . . . and they are so warm, can't wear em any length of time in a warm house.
