I had a construction idea and wanted to try it out so I grabbed a misc side I had running around and threw this together. It's 15"x12"x3". Pics were snapped quickly with my phone so I'm sorry for the potato quality of them.

I like the shape, size, and color of that satchel! Something that would really finish it up though would to do something with the edges, either burnish them (probably hard to do with that floppy a leather) or paint them. Time consuming, but it would really kick it into another level.

Normally I'd agree but there's been a huge shift in the fashion industry toward simple bags with minimal anything and raw edges. Nowdays it's all about the silhouette and minimalism. Plus I'm looking for a bag product I can product quickly and easily for minimal labour and cost to keep the purchase price low. Now if I could just find a solid and consistent leather source for it here in Canada. . .
