piera Report post Posted February 23, 2016 Hello all, I'm attempting to make handbag using red patent vinyl. I sew with Juki 1541s.. i am just testing ons crap before I proceed to my actual bag. My top stitching is fine but my bobbin stitching is loose.. I've tried different combinations of tightening or loosening the bobbin tension or top tension. Colt W Knight Report post Posted February 23, 2016 I'very encountered a similar problem on heavy synthetic material. The solution was going up a needle size. That allowed the top thread to pull the bottom thread up into the hole easier and with less top tension when using the smaller needle. What needle point ate you using?
