Yeah, portraits are the hardest thing I ever had to draw/sketch up and you just applied them to an even harder medium. Kudos to you!

That, indeed, is some excellent work, . . . far beyond my expertise that is for sure.

BUT ! If you are interested in doing that, . . . one of the things you can do if you want to get into that type of carving, . . . use a laser printer, . . . reverse the image, . . . print it on to waxed paper, . . . lay the waxed paper onto the leather, . . . use a squeege to transfer the ink onto the leather.

At least you won't then have to try to draw the image, . . .
